THINGS I HAVE LEARNED AS A NEWBEE IN THE INTERNET BUSINESS

For those of you out there who have no business and are thinking about what to do....1. Make sure you have some savy or work witha friend who has some knowledge befoe you try to start building your own website, or have some one build your website.
2. be aware there ate monthly fees like domain name, hosting...this was all news to me as a beginner.
3.Do not start the website until you know in your mind exactly the type of pages you are looking for. Remeber we all have different visions of what looks good. Do not trust someone else to do it all, give them a blue print. A good way to do this is to check out other sites that sell your type of product and note what you do and donot like on the look of the site. Share this information in great detail with the person you are working with!
4.Do not pay up front, I did and had a partial website built for 100% of the money.
5. Get receipts for everything....trust me when I say you may need them!
6.Learn the upkeep of your site for product updating, sales,newsletters. Once the site is done it is cheaper for you to maintain it yourself.
7.Never let the bumps in the road get you down, it takes tons of work, and toughness, a good attitude and faith in yourself.
8. We will all have our struggles getting into this line of business..learn from them..and go on.
9. Use Startup biz for information from experts. There are many of them out there.
10. Join as many clubs that might interest you. Ther is tons of valuable information given freely in dicussion forums.
11. Enjoy this as the best part of your life building your dream business!
