Victoriana Lady Lisa Lewis who portrayed
nurse Esther Tinsley in a local film.
Ms. Lewis will be in character as nurse & hospital administrator Esther Tinsley to answer questions and announce the showing of the documentary film Haven On the Hill.

Esther Tinsley had the distinction of being the first woman hospital
administrator in the country in 1912, even before women could vote.
She started the Nesbitt Hospital in Kingston.
Two years later she began the Pittston Hospital as well as the School of Nursing in Pittston PA.
Miss Tinsley had a 61 year tenure and her nurses were sought after all over
the country.
Miss Tinsley retired at age 88 and lived to be 95!
