Why do so many people add the" 't" to " I can" ?

When does a person perspective on life change. At birth everything is
about learning and growing. The majority or children believe that they
can do just about everything, and rightfully so. We can do everything that
we set out minds to.
We humans go from being totally dependant to in dependant. Doesn't
that speak for itself? Each and everyone of us are special and unique.
We all have strengths and weaknesses As intelligent beings, we have
the ability to learn and to set goals. We owe it to ourselves to be the
best that we can be.
All that being said, I ask "When does this change?'. Why do so many of
us change into pessimists? I would hedge a guess that 95% of young children
are all about "I can", not "I can't". Whereas 95% of adults are all
about "I can't". At what age in our lives does this start to occur?
People are suppose to be the most intelligent creatures on earth,"Why than do we go against our very own nature?"

We were born to think "I can". not 'I can't"

Thank You

Take Care Sonja

Sorry pressed the wrong button before I had finished. What I am trying to say is that just the one instance mentioned, I started getting sales, I grew more positive, I then was shot down by Paypal, and now I'm back to the situation, only minor, I can't get positive feedback for this, I can't pay for this, I can't fulfill my side of the deal, I can't expect the buyer to look favourably on me and give possible recomendations to his freinds aquaintences, I can't really do anything about it. So now I'm on a bit of a downer and starting to wonder can I or can't I make it on Ebay.

From my experience a lot of things have come up in my life that just totally throw a spanner in the works.
As one recent example has proved. I do not have suffient funds to be able to support my family and invest in a business or web site, but am seriously trying.
The Example I refer to (please do not consider this as spam or anything like that) is that of me signing up with Ebay (as it is free, and you don't need much else) November last year.
At the moment I have a feedback score of 4. For my stock etc I am using a couple of dropshippers (again no stock etc is required to be held, and you do not even need to go to the post office to post the item/s).
One of the dropshippers is in china and ships world wide. They mainly deal in electrical goods including mobile phones (I will not go into all the details) having had a number of watchers for various models I have put on Ebay, and have made my first sale.(Now for the kick in the teeth) because of low feedback, and the item selling for above £50 (profit has been made) PayPal have put a hold on the buyers money until he receives the goods and gives me positive feedback then they will release the money into my account. Herein lies the problem, you are not informed of these things until they happen, I have not enough money in my account to pay for the item in the first instance, to get the feedback, to have the money placed into my account. CATCH 22.
So like yourself I do not know where this pessimism comes in, or at what age. But it never fails to amuse me that we as a human race and intelligent beings, do not feel that we should help each other with things like this, there must be an absolute minefield out there of people who are "super-possitive", but they feel that they cannot advise without the smell of money.
Could this not be part of the problem, (if we don't get paid for it, we won't help you with it.)
If people would only sit back and think "well with all my wealth of information, I will try to make the world and people better by maybe just giving them a little inspiration, a ray of hope, a helping hand.
Taking an example of animals, they all form "groups" and within that group they learn how to hunt, how to stalk prey, how to behave when in "the pack". Just look at the news, war here, murders there, starvation over the hill. Can we really be possitive in these times and say "HONESTLY" I CAN
