Getting an abundant steady stream of visitors to view your on-line products or services is a must for your future success. And when I say abundant, I mean at least 10,000 visitor each month! The reason for this can be seen from the results of the following calculation:
The recognised return on an Advertising Campaign (cold calling) is anything from .25% to 2% return, depending on how good your sales literature/website message comes across - so:
10,000 visitors X .25% = 25 potential sales. Likewise 10,000 visitors X 2% = 200 potential sales.
So the bottom line is that, for every 10,000 people you contact about your business, you can expect a sales return of between 25 and 200 sign-ups/leads/sales.
Occasionally, someone comes up with a goldmine idea and the percentage return rises to 5, maybe 10%. But the figures shown above are usually the normal results.
