I would like to apply for a grant to publish my third book and get my writings up for sale. SBA says they can't help. Any ideas? I also need to re-establish my web page, "Tulip Productions."
I have novels, novellas, stories, and poems published; some Internationaloly. Could use some help. thanks, Connie
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I am also guilty of trying to do it alone. After watching this video, I will enlist help on writing a non-profit business proposal that allows me to take women to developing countries to be of service, at no cost to them.
Interesting. I am also collecting "start up stories" on my site: yourstartupstory.com. There's a lot to be said for hearing about the journey of others. It's a shame that women are at a disadvantage as far as funding...3.5% of SBA contracts go to women owned business and that's not good.

Hi,
I was so encouraged by the video!
I'm glad to hear the book includes real life stories.
These empower us that it can be done!
This book sounds like a winner!

When she was talking about how women always seem to try and "go it alone" it completely struck a chord with me. As women we do seem to feel that we have to do it all ourselves, like we have something to prove and many of us have such a strong sense of nurturing, be it our children, family members, or our own businesses (which become our babies, too). These qualities can be of great benefit to us but they can also be a hindrance. Finding that balance, that middle path, is essential! Thank you for the video, good information!
