I've created a Ning network with the humble mission of "Networking the Medical and Health Care Universe". I invite all who are in or related to the fields of Medicine, Healthcare (Health Care) and Wellness to join our community.

Who's invited and how can you benefit?:

Hi, myself along with a group of like minded individuals started the Independent Writer's Network. Our goal is to provide a platform for independent authors and publishers to advertise, market and promote their novels, short stories and poetry.

We take a simple and no nonsense approach - we encourage open and honest discussions, and give tough, thorough and constructive feedback on each other's work. We have a zero tolerance policy on cyberbullying, cyberstalking, starting or spreading rumors or any other actions considered detrimental to our community.

We have forums on how to get published, improvised story telling, a business forum for publishing and an online magazine forum.

Our long term goal is to provide a "one stop" site for authors to get published with our own publishing company, online magazine and an online store exclusively for independent authors.

Created to connect (network) all those within the Tile Industry all over the planet, though mainly in the EU/UK. And it's working so far.

Who's invited and how you can benefit:

Anybody from within the tile industry. We're looking to connect you offline aswell as online. So expect Manufacturers, Distributors, Suppliers and Contractors from within the Tile Industry mainly in the UK, but from all other parts of the world too.

We're also connecting customers with tilers (tile setters I believe one is called in the US/Canada).

Fiber Focus- We either make things out of fiber (quilts, baskets, garments, etc.) or are in a fiber-related business. It's an informal place with a multi-cultural and international mission.

I have created a network which links Cricket (the game) to my Health and Wellness business. I think they go well together, don't you?
I have always been interested in cricket and I have found that playing games is a great teacher of social interaction, a quality business people need, whether offline or online.
On the site Cricket, Lovely Cricket, you will see some photos of my favourite cricketers from the West Indies and two (for now) short videos to give the unitiated an idea of what good cricket looks like.

Jumping in to give a quick endorsement of Vincent Wright. Those of you who do not know him.... you may want to invest a bit of time. This man has been powerhouse networking before most of us were brave enough to write our first post on any network, blog or forum. Do you remember what that felt like?

In any event, I strenuously suggest adding Vincent and his networks to your daily routine. His groups are huge and fond of open networking. Who knows what connections you will make because of Vincent's groups.

I created indygurus.ning.com as a group of professionals that wish to colloborate on projects and develop ideas for products or businesses.

I also see the potential that ning has for non-profit organizations and I am currently designing a network for one non-profit. I would love to interact with other non-profits to leverage the power of this social networking tool.
