Hello everyone. I have been busy promoting my website www.creditsider.com. I am now writing and submitting articles, but I have been reading so much conflicting information about article submission. I want to submit the same articles to many directories, but I read that if you do this it is considered duplicate content by the search engines. Then again I've read that submitting your articles to many directories will create great backlinks. If the search engines don't count all the directories you listed in the same article in, then how would you get backlinks. Can any one enlighten me about this?
This is a very highly debated issue. One key factor is that once you upload a new article to your website, make sure to wait for the search engines to crawl your site and recognize the new article is from your page first.
If you upload your new article and immediately start sending it off to all the article directories, Chances are likely a higher PR site is going to get the credit for the content on the first crawl.
I would suggest using a slightly altered version of your article when you submit them to the directories just to be on the safe side. There are programs out there you have probably seen like jetspin.com which help creating multiple articles from 1.
I think the most important thing is to make sure your site is crawled with any new submissions before you start sending them out to other sites.
This information is very helpful. I will make sure to wait until my site is crawled with the new information before I start sending my articles out to directories. I tried jet spinner but it was confusing for me. I could never get it to work.
If you continually create articles of unique content and submit them to a small number of Article Directories, you will find that you obtain Expert Status and many readers will see you as an authority on your written subjects. You tend to get a following of repeat readers - I have about 3,000+.
Using an automated article creation tool can really save you time writting and produce some really great articles. Take a look at my Profile, I have some very good links under "My Favourite Websites".
Hi, I have a new online service business (www.meetatmmp.com) and have been reading about how to make the site show up in the natural search results without sponsoring ads. It seems that for the most part all of the articles say that the site needs to have articles with fresh content to keep it relevant and get indexed by the bots.
My particular website is provides a service, so it doesn't make sense for me to create a blog, at least not until it's successful and I have something to write about.
My question is that before I can get articles written about my service and have links pointed to my site, is that the only and best way to get into the search indexes?
I've done lots of article marketing and here is what works best for me.
1. Find two similar keyword phrases related to your site. The keywords should both have decent searches with few competitors. It works best if one is a shorter phrase uses the same major key words as a longer phrase.
2. Write a post or a page on the best of the two keyword phrases. I use latent semantic index words for each keyword phrase in steps 2 and 3.
3. Write different content for an article on the other keyword phrase. You can also write different versions of the article and submit it to different directories. The topic and ideas can be the same, but the writing should be different.
4. Submit the article/s to a high Page rank article directory. In your author's resource box link to the post or page with the similar keyword phrase. Use the phrase in the post as anchor text.
This way what is on your site is different from your article. Yet you get a good linkback to the post with a same-topic article.
You can see an example of how I do this with the three links below:
