The absence of unconditional love for all those in her inner circle signifies an attack on her relationship with God. Though not a traditional attack from the enemy, it is a sign of the struggle that we often have with our own flesh. Man by nature is selfish, if we are to follow after Christ, we are to be selfless. We must allow God to heal our past hurts, thereby allowing those old grudges to die; if not, they will fester and hinder us. By loving those around us, we show we love Him. An absence of love negates Gods assurance of your heritage. We must live so that all the promises of God will be ours.
