The gift of business wisdom was clearly realized by the president of sail ventures originally an international activist for blacks liberation, fair treatments and equal respect when the gift have been realized he and his team decided to dedicate it to the welfare of mankind especially blacks at home and in the Diaspora.
Why the vision/business line up below delay is due to selflessness and or better still not being too conscious of money in 1967 - 1989 he founded pan African NGO by name sucardif association in the US. Dedicated to unification of African Descendants in the Diaspora and in the continent to find ways of doing things that will liberate the Africans from poverty, humiliation etc.
In other to be successful one of the ways that show up strongly was work and wealth creation. The vision was shared with other people, particularly business men. As vision sharing would play an important role for its success , in the effort to carry out/promoting the vision some traveling was done to America and Asia as a result Ghana-Taiwan chamber of commerce was formed to facilitate trade between the two countries, but unfortunately anytime serious business plans are to be embarked upon, by way of promoting and looking for investments it gets for strated/terminated through an awkward behaviour and greed by these business men.
However The President and his Vice still hold strongly to his vision and last year decided that if the people (business men) who are invited to take advantage of some of the opportunity created does not have what it takes, then should take to the opportunity/business by selves, hence the following businesses. - were line out to be undertaken
What has been done & the way forward.
1. Sail Bank
i The idea to establish sail bank is to mobilize money locally throughsavings
ii Housing Foreign Investments: for sail group of company’s.
iii Provide credit facilities to other businesses such as small, medium scale as well as large business.
NOTE: The Bank has plan to be established as soon as one major project takes off.
2. Sail Venture Cement Manufacturing Company
Feasibility reports have been conducted on raw materials for cement manufacturing in Ghana its viability has been established. The feasibility report was handed over to the strategic investor who was ready to ship the machines some 6 years ago but was stopped due to the following reasons (i) hijacking attitude shown by some supposed partners (ii) mining license and Environmental protection agency permit was not obtained (iii) acquisition agreement was not reached with chiefs & the people, the custodians of the land.
Sail Ventures Garment Company Limited:
This company intends to establish a garment factory, starting with jeans sewing factory to be exported to the US through AGOA initiative as well as to supply the local and sub-region’s market. Some discussion has been reached with the world finest jeans fabric manufacturing company in Taiwan. We have in plan to mobilize the cottons in the sub region to be processed into the jeans fabric as well other fabrics, as expansion work on the set up as per AGOA requirement.
Sail Ventures Real Estates & Module City Development
We realize that decent housing is a scarcity here in Ghana especially among the middle and low class and also lands not adequately used. We wish to step into the industry to help address the problem by providing attractive & decent high rise buildings for the above mention social group etc, in our continuous bid to promote Ghana/Africa to the brothers & sisters in the Diaspora to come back home with their resources and their technical know how. It was realized that indecent and unattractive cities pose a challenge to their home coming we again wish to address this, hence we have partly acquired several miles and acres of lands to undertake the module city.
5. Sail Ventures Total Agricultural Company:
We are aware that Ghana has enough lands to grow food and feed the public and that of the sub region as well as export to over sees but this is not so. We are in discussion with some investors in Taiwan to come and invest and bring in their technical know how in the area of (i) irrigation for farming (ii) harvesting & processing (iii) as well as to build salos for good food storage/securities) and fish farming. We have laise with eight (8) paramount chiefs and seven (7) queen mothers within Greater Accra Region, Central Region, Eastern Region and Volta Region who are ready to release as much lands as we may need to undertake the project.
6. Sail General Merchandise Company
We Wish to host/ housing goods for distribution and trade in goods locally and to the sub-region, this has been discussed with manufacturing, it was required of us to build ware houses for the business.
7. Sail Ventures Afrika University
We are aware that British form of education which is more of theory, one of the legacies they left for us, we believe is really not helping us. An idea came up that step into provide stronger combination of both theological & practical (more pro active education & training) and also to help address the inadequate university in Ghana as well as the continent. Five (5) years ago the idea was sold to the chairman of Miami Day University College and (his board) who is also a board member of about 7 universities build, this monument if completed have the potential to attract all the Diaspora’s to come home and will turn to be more or less like Mecca on at least monthly basis as you can see this calls for established and run our own airlines to enable us have a fair share of the market that could be created in the industry. Some conversation is ongoing between us and manufacturers of aircrafts and some major player in the industry. Which Doc need to come on board to move it.
11. Sail Ventures Radio & Television Broadcasting:
Is the business some holly wood stars who are repatriating are interested in to set up to promote tourism, Africa rich cultural etc to the America and the world us as soon as this is registered and necessary documentation are obtained such as operation license they will be ready move in but frankly this has not been tackled as yet.
12. Sail Insurance Company
The idea is to provide insurance cover for the sail group and other business as well as the general public so that should there be a day of the of devastation they can be restored appropriately then again to introduce products that would make the industry more competitive
13. Sail Construction Company
Is a company we wish to set up to provide first class services to potential client, in that we would mobilize civil engineers & architects, manage them and send them out to the developed world to have further training & exposure so they can enhance their skills and also to develop a working culture. We are in conversation with some great civil engineering institutions in Taiwan and some Architectural organizations in the USA.
14. Sail (Ventures) Model Schools Complex
Sail group wish to establish basic and high model schools within the proposed module cities & township (community) developments and possibly throughout the country. We are aware that kids and pupil have different absorption level. We believe the major trend in the country where by between 50 to 60 pupils are parked in one class room is not the best, or better is not helping at all, especially those with low absorption levels. We want to establish schools that will have between 10 to 12 pupils with modern facilities that enhances Teaching and Learning, more importantly for those with low absorption level. Again to introduce genuine large scale sponsorships to needy but brilliant students from profits that will be made from our investment/business, as part of our social responsibility
15. Sail Ventures Consulting & Engineering Company
The above would be an establishment that will housing high professionals to provide consultancy for businesses, all level of businessmen, the general public and career guidance then again set up engineering services for different kinds of engineers, manage them on continuous base to enhances their skills etc. in the area of computer engineering some arrangement has been made to send engineers out to Taiwan for industrial attachments already.
16. Sail Ventures Tourism Company
The company intends to build first class hotel accommodations in Ada-foah and to create Miami kind of beach with yacht, speed boat and other water sports activities for holiday’s markers & tourist, then also provide services such as Transport (car & bus renting) to tourist and to do ticketing & reservation etc.
17. Sail Ventures Oil Refinery
This company wishes to go into oil refinery to supply countries within the sub-region that would need it, as well as the local market, and to break the monopoly by Tema oil refinery.
18. Sail Ventures Mining Company
This company would like to go into mining our minerals, process and export any exportable once, and as much as possible add value to those we can add value to, since skill sells.
19. Sail Ventures Mechanical Engineering Company
Mechanical engineering would be one of courses to teach in sail Afrika University and as much as possible the above company to be established will employ the engineers to make machines to supply our markets and other new engineers will be sent to the company to do practical attachment.
20. Sail Pautowina Scientific Tree Planting Company
The above tree is a scientific timber that could be fully grown three and half years (3¼) fell and process and export to the world. The panlowina scientific tree got introduce to us by an organization called Black Capital Chamber of Commerce in the US.
This venture required huge capital because of its nature, it has to be care for, we must settle the farmers within the plantation etc. after is fully grown it has to be fell & processed in our set up lumber factory. The above organizations assured us of funding and the expertise. The main idea to do the plantation in Ghana and Africa is their intention to pay tribute (contribute) to Africa’s development agenda in relation to work (job) and wealth.
We have secure land at Sege, Swedru and Brong Ahafo Region for the plantation. We would like to invite them over soon as convenience.
Sail Recycling Company
including Harvard university in the State to help build and transcript the module university. The same year they came down to access the situation on the ground, he/they would be ready to move in to help as soon as they are assured that land allocation/and acquisition and documentation are completed.
8. Sail Ventures Computer Assembling Plant.
Is a business that has been negotiated for by Nana with the President of a Giant Computer Manufacturing Company in Taiwan to set up a computer assembling plant to assemble computers to supply the sub-region, they were convinced that the cheap labor cost would cut down on the production line to make their product competitive and the idea was also for job creation.
9. Sail Venture import & Export Company
Will aim at importing products that are required/ necessary for our market and would as well processed the raw materials, promote and establish African shops/market in Asia and America particularly in Taiwan and among the black community in the US etc through our contacts. We wish to process our finest raw materials such as
I. Gold and diamonds to a finest unique and customize jewelry
Ii. To process the world finest cocoa into the premium chocolate
III. Share butter to be marketed in the state to cosmetic industries or properly processed and sold at our established shops.
IV The Ghana’s finest salt to be producing in a large scale to be exported to the sub-region and beyond, then subsequently other identifiable, marketable and exportable products will be looked at.
10. Sail Venture Shipping & Airlines Company
We are aware of the increased economic activities among African Countries and the world which calls for increase in transportation of goods and human beings and also the fact that Ghana host/pose to be one of the best trainer of navigators in the navigation industry, this pose a challenge to business men to create job for the people Ghana train’s, when Nana visited a ship building yard in Taiwan he found out how one could acquire a ship, only to be told that ship buying is purely done through bank to bank arrangement so he and his team should go and get a viable business plan and come back, they would be attended to. With the issue of running airlines it’s becoming necessary due to sucardif association vision to unite Africans and promote the well being of the people and preparedness to creating spiritual bridge among African descendants. The NGO is actively implementing the save Ghana libraries and various educational programs in an aspect of nation building and development . The sucardif association has required 200 acres of land to erect a monument in cape coast in memory of brothers and sister who perished during the transatiantic slave trade to be called Tower of return monument that will stand proudly as a beacon to Africans world wide. The proposed project already has support from Geneva and Ghana tourist board to be
Waste management as we know or better still has been a big challenge to Ghana so we talk to a company in Taiwan that produces the most advance recycling plants. We have been asked to collect data on Volume of waste produce in Accra and other cities in the country so they can build it for us, on build operate and transfer terms but as a matter of fact we did not work on this and its relative documents as yet.

The actual/current situation will be astained by our professional founding, once this is established then we will quickly go for the license to operate.
